Travel Lodge Exeter

When staying at the Travel Lodge, Exeter is located just off of the M5 motorway and provides the ideal starting point for visit not just Exeter but the surrounding area.  A short distance away by car is Crealy Adventure Park and of course, in Exeter you have the cathedral. 

But if you are willing to travel a little further then you are only 12 miles away from Dartmoor and 19 miles away from Castle Drogo.  Dartmoor offers you the chance to view some really spectacular rugged scenery and also the chance to see the ponies which in habit it.  Plus you may even get sight of the Beast of Dartmoor, which is believed to live there also. 

However, for a great day out for the kids then Crealy Adventure Park should be on your list of things to do.  Here you have a choice of different things to do from rides and slides to just spending time looking at the animals.  As you will soon discover when you visit this attraction, there is plenty for everyone to do no matter their age.

If you would like to spend sometime just relaxing then take a visit to Killerton House that houses the Paulise de Bush costume collection.  It comprises well over 900 different outfits that have been worn during the past 300 years.  But as well as spending time taking in the costumes you can spend time just wandering around and relaxing in the gardens, which are spread over 18 acres around this beautiful 18th Century house.
